Information sharing: How to reduce fever using egg white

Little Kate is having a fever right now. Highest at the moment : 39.7  - lowest: 37.2
Had brought her to the doc but still her fever is like the roller coaster

My mom came over and use the traditional method of boiled egg.
What she does was to roll the boiled egg over her body. this is a remedy left behind by my grandma. it is supposed to remove the heaty-ness in her body

Being curious, I surf the net and found this useful article Fever Cures by the Earth Clinic
The method is a little diff from what mom has done and I'm gona try it out my self right now

I've noticed some people are writing that they use face cloths or towels to soak up the egg white and put on the feet. I doubt the remedy will be as effective if done that way. 8th Dec: Never get to test out the above as shortly after this posting, kate's fever shot up to 40.7! Ran for the hospital and outcome? She was affected with UTI. Seeing doc this coming friday for her detailed report..
